You are Solen Rath, a mapmaker's apprentice who has followed a stolen chart to the threshold of the Temple of Ammavar — a vine-strangled antechamber where a stone idol watches over a pressure plate, and where Brother Cassin, the temple's self-appointed warden, sits blocking the inner passage. The chart you carry is a forgery your master made three years ago, and the real one — the one that names your master as the temple's rightful inheritor — is locked somewhere inside. Brother Cassin has seen your master's face but never yours. You have perhaps one opportunity to become someone else entirely.
