Signal from the Hut

You are Petra Kallas, relief harbourmaster, arriving at Crayfish Point just before first light. The regular harbourmaster, old Dunc, radioed at midnight: a freak gust shredded the signal kite — the big diamond kite that guides fishing boats through the reef channel in bad visibility. A squall is twenty minutes out, and the Norrvik trawler is already inbound with no working radio. If there's no kite in the sky when she rounds the headland, Captain Birta will take the reef channel blind. The kite's four panels are scattered somewhere in and around the hut. You have to find them, lace them back onto the frame, and get that kite aloft before the squall hits.
